At the 37th National Film Awards, “Chandni” won the award for Best Popular Film along with many movie nominations.

This movie revolves around love triangle of Chandni and her finance Rohit and she got suffered from accident and after it she reappears in following her engagement to Lalit. Shiv- Hari has composed songs for this movie which got contributed to the era’s trend of romantic musicals in Bollywood.
