Jugnu was produced and directed by Pramod Chakravorty. This was a Hindi movie which was later remade in Telugu and Tamil named as Guru. It starred Dharmendra and Hema Malini. Sachin Bhowmick has written Dialogues for this movie.

This movie revolves around Ashok who was a clever thief with a heart of gold, who falls in love with Seema, only to discover she’s the daughter of a man he killed in his past. As he navigates love and his double life, he encounters his revolutionary father, leading to a dramatic climax. c S. D. Burman has composed songs with lyrics by Anand Bakshi.
